Great plugin, I use it on my blog

  2. Nice easy to install, easy to configure plugin! I love the ease of selecting a color, well done!

Suggestions/requests for any future update: manual style additions or edit, sticky or non-sticky, height/width, title/mouseover text (like “click to follow XXX on twitter”).

  3. admin says:

@Abel thank you for your comment.
I’ll try to implement your suggestions on next version.

  4. Kim says:

    Hi,

Love the plugin! Very good to be such a early version. Creds!

But, my WordPress blog is just in Norwegian. So could you please tell me which font you used in the Follow me/Follow us png?

    Thank you 🙂

  5. Kim says:

Thanks! I´ll just edit the png until then. Looking forward to the next version alreddy.

  6. J.P says:

Great plugin, any chance on a facebook version? I would love to see a similar badge for facebook siting right below the twitter one.

  7. Bogcess says:

I love this plugin! Hope this boosts my twitter follower count. Thanks!

  8. Steve says:

Loaded everything in but cannot find a settings option. I just have edit, deactivate and activate on my plug in page. The icon shows up and just goes to WPburn not my Twitter account (which of course was never set up).
Seemed like a simple install but simple and successful are not my experience in the world of plug-ins. Thanks.

  9. admin says:

J.P, maybe on next versions I’ll add facebook.
Steve, go to Settings –> FollowMe Settings on wp admin panel. On this page are all options and you will can add your twitter account here.

  10. J.P says:

@Steve, im having trouble getting the plug-in to work. I install it correctly trough the wordpress plug-in manager and set the options to my twitter about… but the badge doesn’t show on the blog.

Is there any known conflict between the plug-in and other plug-in´s or wordpress templates/features?

    Regards,

  11. admin says:

@J.P what version of wp you run ?
Also you tried to delete the cache if you have wp super cache plugin or any other similar plugin ?

  12. J.P says:

    I´m using wordpress version 2.8.4.

I´ve cleared the wp super cache and deactivated it for good measure.

Maybe its related to the theme design? i dont know. But i would love to get the plug-in working on my blog as its one of the easiest implementations i have seen of this type of badge.

  13. admin says:

The theme shouldn’t be a problem as the plugin inject the code in wp footer function (witch should be in any theme).
However, can you give me the name of your theme ?

  14. J.P says:

The theme im using is called Atlantica, it can be viewed in more detail here at the authors page: http://themeforest.net/item/atlantica-wordpress-premium-portfolio-template/49034

  15. admin says:

I am not going to buy the theme to see what’s the problem.
Better ask the theme author if he can test the plugin and tell you why the plugin doesn’t work on this theme.

  16. J.P says:

Certainly. You mentioned that the plug-in injects the code into the footer. Is there a way for me to add the code directly to the footer html file? Maybe that would solve the problem.

  17. Ravin says:

    Awesome Plugin!

Wondering if it is possible to use our own image as Twitter Badge? It would be great if you would add this feature in a future update.

  18. Thanks alot for this plugin, it works awesome and was very easy to use!

  19. Tinh says:

Nice one, worth for a try

  20. Patrick says:

Hoi, thanks for this nice add-on. But it does not show up. My case is pretty much the same as of J.P. I use a custom made design.

  21. MrCatana says:

The plugin doesn’t work for me either. 🙁

I have the Falkner House theme.

Can you give any recommendations on what to do?

  22. Jason S. says:

I’m really diggin’ this. I would love to have a version/option that would allow it to “pop” or “push” out when someone hovers. Perhaps similar to @Abel with a “Click to follow XXX” message?

  23. Adam says:

I’m also unable to display the badge with my theme. It’s a free one I downloaded – http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/desk-mess

    Thanks for your help!

  24. Maria says:

Great plugin, I use it on my blog.
    thank you

  25. admin says:

For all who have problems to make this plugin working read the “Not working on your blog ?” part of this post (I have updated this post).
I’ll fix those issues on next version.

  26. Hi,

I recently wrote a post about WordPress Twitter widgets and linked to your plugin.
My blogger readers asked if there is a solution for Blogger?

I guess you could provide the returned code without ability to change settings to be placed on Blogger blog.

    Thanks,

  27. admin says:

At this moment isn’t any solution available for blogger but I’ll make it available for more platforms in future.

  28. ridwanessa says:

    nice plugins..
i use it in mw website

  29. MOBIXONE.COM says:

Excellent & very lite good looking plugin.
i am using it also on my Humor Blog.
    Thanks For This. 😉

  30. Ann says:

Hi, I’m using Thesis, and have installed the plugin…it’s not showing up at all – could you tell me what I might be doing wrong? (I added the WP Footer code already)

    Thanks!

  31. admin says:

I’ll try to fix all issues with all themes in the next version. Also I have received many emails with questions about how to edit the twitter account. You don’t have to edit any code from any php file, just use the settings page (in wp admin panel -> Settings -> FollowMe Settings). If you can’t found this page check if the plugin is activated.

  32. Jerr says:

Thanks for the plugin! I’ve got the same issue the others have – The plugin’s not showing on my site. I’m using the theme “Dark Smoke,” which is shareware, very simple and all CCS – Hope that helps and I’m looking forward to the next version!

  33. Jerr says:

Ah (feeling slightly embarrassed), finally found the fix you have here (At the top of this blog, no less!) and installed it in my footer.php for the theme I’m using. It works like a charm. Great widget – Accomplishes task beautifully and elegantly. Thanks!

  34. Carol Ann says:

Great Plug-in! Any possible way you could add an option to have it lay on it’s side? I’d like to have it fit in the upper right hand corner of my Blog

    Thanks!

Also, I’d love to donate a few bucks, but didn’t see a link?

  35. Ari says:

Excellent plugin, congratulations and thanks for sharing.
Didn’t show up when I first installed it but as soon as I included the “fix” in footer.php it went live.

  36. Marvin Sigar says:

hi, nice plug-in! i used it in my website, but it doesn’t seems to work on IE. i’m using old-popular-yolk themes. any recommendations on what to do?

  37. admin says:

Try the wp_footer fix.If the plugin works in other browsers and only don’t work on IE this is a browser compatibility issue. However if you use IE6 the plugin will not work.Only in IE7+

  38. Excellent plugin working great, thanks!

  39. KI says:

Best and easiest plugin I’ve ever used!

  40. Emma says:

Hi – this was my first plug in and it is absolutely fab! Many thanks!

  41. This is a great idea. The plug-in doesn’t appear to be working for me (http://blog.voxsapiens.com/) but I suspect it is a browser issue because I can’t see the badge on any of the other sites where the plug-in is installed (including wpburn.com itself). I will check with other browsers when I get access to my own laptop.

  42. admin says:

@Robert, are you using Internet Explorer 6 ?This plugin not suport IE6 (however is worst browser ever, I suggest you to upgrade to IE8 or use Firefox).

  43. Lila says:

    Thanks for a plugin 🙂

  44. nevdull says:

Just added this great plugin to my blog but had some trouble as the css was fetched over https. As the cert is self signed the css failed to load in some browsers. I guess this is the result of the function plugins_url being used in combination with FORCE_SSL_LOGIN and FORCE_SSL_ADMIN being set? Changing plugins_url to WP_PLUGIN_URL solved my problems.

  45. when I enter my twitter account name “ProMomBlogger”, it keeps sending me to wpburn

  46. EASTeam says:

    Excellent! Thank you!!

  47. AdamMontana says:

I’m having issues with this as well… half of the image links to my twitter account, and the other half links to wpburn.

    How do I fix this?

  48. Hi mate! Awsome this plugin, i love it.
But don’t you have the original PNG’s to share? I’m from Brazil, and i would like to translate for portuguese.

    Something like “Siga-me”.

    Thanks man!

  49. Kevin says:

Thanks for creating this plugin. I really like how is sits on the side bar in the template I use. I also like the adjustable colors. But I would like to cahnge one thing.
Is there anyway to turn off the popup “I Love it” message?

    Thanks Kevin

  50. admin says:

@Kevin, actually not.I’ll make some changes on next version.
